ABOUT Spinach Paneer Fingers RECIPE

A very simple yet very tasty starter , different from the usual ones using the spinach leaves.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 1 cup Finely chopped Spinach
  2. 6 pieces Paneer , cut into long fingers
  3. Oil for deep-frying
  4. 1 tbsp soya sauce
  5. 1 tbsp chili tomato sauce
  6. 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  7. 1 tsp red chili flakes
  8. 1-2 tbsp Cornflour
  9. White pepper powder to taste
  10. Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, add white pepper powder, salt, soya sauce, chili tomato sauce, ginger garlic paste. Mix well. Add Paneer fingers and marinate for 10-15 minutes.
  2. In a small cup , mix corn flour with water to make a slurry.
  3. Now dip the paneer fingers in the cornflour slurry and roll them over spinach covering all the sides
  4. Deep-fry paneer in hot oil till golden and crisp. Drain excess oil on absorbent paper.
  5. Serve immediately with sweet and sour tomato sauce.
