Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Fenugreek seeds sprouted 1/2 cup
  2. Raisins 1/4 cup or as required
  3. Dates 1/4 cup or as desired
  4. Jaggery 1/3 cup
  5. Dry mango powder 3 tea spoon
  6. Salt to taste (i used 1 1-2 tea spoon
  7. 1 tea spoon each red chilly powder, mustard seeds, cumin seeds, coriander powder
  8. Oil for tadka
  9. 1/2 tea spoon turmeric powder

Instructions

  1. Boil water in a woke, add sprouted seeds, let it cook for 2 or 3 minutes. Cover it and let it there for some time, strain it a d keep aside
  2. Soak raisins and dates in a cup of water for a out 30 minutes and keep aside
  3. Heat a pan with oil and add cumin seeds and mustard seeds, , let them crackle
  4. Add the strained seeds and saute for 5 minutes
  5. Add salt, coriander powder and red chilly powder
  6. Add a cup of water and let it cook for few minutes
  7. Add Raisins, dates and mango powder and Jaggery, add little water, if required
  8. Cook till the required consistency
  9. Launji is ready to be enjoyed with poori, chapati and dosa etc
