Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Mutton - 500 gms
  2. Chopped torai / ridged gourd - 1 kg
  3. Sliced onion - 2 big size
  4. Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp
  5. Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
  6. Red chilly powder - 1 tsp
  7. Coriander powder - 1 tsp
  8. Kashmiri mirch powder - 1 tsp
  9. Chopped tomato - 2
  10. Garam masala powder - 1 tsp
  11. Salt - to taste
  12. Oil - 1/2 cup

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pressure cooker.
  2. Add onion and stir fry for one mins.
  3. Add ginger garlic paste,coriander powder,red chilly powder,turmeric powder and kashmiri mirch powder and mix well.
  4. Add chopped tomato and saute.
  5. Add chopped torai / ridged gourd and mutton and mix well.
  6. Cover the lid and pressure cook.
  7. After 4 - 5 whistle switch off the gas.
  8. Once cooled, add garam masala powder and salt and mix well.
  9. Cook till water absorb it.
  10. Semi thick gravy.

Can i use ghee in the place of oil?
