A flavourful and aromatic spice blend to make tea/chai.The spice blend stay good for months so you can easily make and store it.

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Black pepper whole 1 cup
  2. Dry Tulsi leaves 20-25
  3. Dried ginger powder 1/4 cup
  4. Cinnamon 10-12 pieces
  5. Clove 1/4 cup
  6. Green Cardamom 3/4 cup
  7. Nutmeg powder 1/4 cup
  8. Lemon grass powder 1/4 cup


  1. Dry roast all the whole spices until you get nice aroma.
  2. Keep it aside to cool down completely.
  3. Grind all the whole spices in a mixer grinder to fine powder.
  4. Now add rest of spices powder inthe spice mix.
  5. Blend together all the spices.
  6. Transfer the chai masala in a wide pan to cool down completely.
  7. Store in a airtight jar and use as required.
  8. For making 2 cups of tea use 1/4 tsp of chai masala.
