Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Hard boiled eggs - 4
  2. Boiled basmati rice - 5oo gms4
  3. Sliced fried onion - 2 medium
  4. Curd - 1 cup
  5. Clarified butter - 1 tbsp
  6. Oil - 1/4 cup
  7. Garam masala powder - 1 tsp
  8. Chopped green chilly - 1
  9. Chopped onion - 2 medium
  10. Cinnamon - 1 inch stick
  11. Bay leaf - 1 - 2
  12. Sahi cumin seeds - 1/4 tsp
  13. Green cardamom - 2 - 3
  14. Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp
  15. Coriander powder - 1 tbsp
  16. Turmeric powder - 1 tbsp
  17. Red chilly powder - 1 tsp
  18. Mint leaves - 1 tsp
  19. Chopped coriander leaves - 1 tsp
  20. Cashew nuts - 1 tbsp
  21. Almonds - 1 tbsp
  22. Raisins - 1 tsp

Instructions

  1. Peeled the eggs and make long slit along each eggs.
  2. Hit oil and 1 tbsp clarified butter in a pan
  3. Fry all the dry fruits and strain it..
  4. In a pan add cinamon,sahi cumin seeds,bay leaf,green cardamom.
  5. Add chopped onion and fry till light brown.
  6. Add ginger,garlic paste and dry ingredients (coriander powder,red chilly powder and turmeric powder) and 2 tbsp water.
  7. Stir fry till oil seperates from spices.
  8. Add curd and mix well.
  9. Add coriander leaves,mint leaves,green chillies and salt and mix well.
  10. Make thick gravy and switch off the gas.
  11. Heat 1 tbsp clarified butter /ghee in another pan.
  12. Switch off the gas and layered the biryani.
  13. First layer is the boiled rice and next layer is gravy.
  14. Add two eggs ,fried onion,coriander leaves,mint leaves and fried dry fruits.
  15. Again add layer of rice,next layer is gravy.
  16. Add two eggs,fried onions,coriander leaves,mint leaves and dry fruits.
  17. Cover it and heat for 5 mins.
  18. Serve with raita.
