ABOUT Zeera ghobi aalu. RECIPE

Its usually made in shaadis. zeera enhances flavours of gobhi and aalu.The best taste comes out when it is little burnt.We call it tara lagana. It is loved by all age groups.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 medium size cauliflower .
  2. 2 medium size potatoes
  3. 2 medium size tomatoes
  4. 5 green chillies
  5. 1 tbsp zeera
  6. ggc paste half spoon
  7. red chilli pwd 2 tsp
  8. turmeric powder 1 tsp
  9. coriander pwd 1 tbsp
  10. aamchur pwd 1tsp
  11. zeera n garam masala pwd mixed 1 tsp.
  12. oil to deep fry.
  13. 1 spoon oil

Instructions

  1. Cut Gobhi in small florets and deep fry with salt.
  2. Cut potatoes in medium cubes and deep fry with salt. ( both gobhi and aalushould b fried at med flame to make golden n crisp)
  3. Now take out both in another heavy bottomed pan or Kadai.
  4. Add tomatoes chopped, zeera ,ggc paste,red chilli pwd, aamchur pwd, coriander pwd, slit green chillies, 1spoon ,garam masala, zeera pwd.
  5. Give everything a good stir.
  6. Keep this Kadai on high flame.
  7. Cook this one full flame so that this veggies stick to bottom of pan.
  8. Once they are lil stick to bottom switch of the gas and add coriander leaves.
  9. Serve Gobhi aalu with this Tari.
  10. It tastes awsome.
