Ingredients to make Kathiyawadi Baingan Bharta

  • Large size brinjals 3 piece
  • Minute chopped green onion 250 gms
  • Minute chopped garlic 15-20 pieces
  • Minute chopped green chillies 2-3 pieces
  • Minute chopped tomatoes 1 piece
  • ginger Paste 1 t.spoon
  • garlic paste 1 t.spoon
  • coriander powder 1 t.spoon
  • red chilli powder 3 spoon
  • Tumeric powder 1 spoon
  • cumin seeds powder half t.spoon
  • Minute chopped coriander for garnihing
  • oil for cooking
  • salt as per taste

How to make Kathiyawadi Baingan Bharta

  1. Apply Some Oil All over the brinjal and keep it for roasting on an open flame .Cook it evenly on flame .roast till it is completly cooked and and check its tenderness by sliding a knife in it , if the knife slides easily it is well cooked .
  2. Let it Cool down after roasting. Peel the skin of brinjals after roasting.
  3. Chop the rosted brinjals with knife and Make pulp of it
  4. Now take a pan and heat 3 spoons of Oil. After heating Oil add Garlic Paste, Ginger Paste and saute for some time then after add Minute chopped Garlic , green chillies and green onions and again mix it well.
  5. Add red chilli powder, tumeric powder , Cumin seeds powder, Coriander powder and Salt as per taste, mix it well and Cook for 10 mins
  6. Add finely chopped tomatoes and mix it well
  7. Keep stiring till the Oil starts separating from the mixture then add pulp of rosted brinjals , mix it well
  8. Now BAINGAN BHARTA is ready !!! Serve it in a bowl .
