This healthy and nutritious dish is a good breakfast option for kids,pregnant ladies as well as elder people.It is a combination of various vegetables and fiber rich oats.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Oats-1 cup
  2. Onion-1/2 cup
  3. Capsicum-1/2 cup
  4. Carrots-1/4 cup
  5. Green peas-1/4 cup
  6. French beans-1/2 cup
  7. Tomatoes-1/2 cup
  8. Curry leaves-8 to 10
  9. Green chillies-1
  10. Olive oil-1 tbsp
  11. Cumin Seeds-1 tsp
  12. Turmeric-1/2 tsp
  13. Red chilli powder-1 tsp
  14. Lemon juice-1 tsp
  15. Maggi masala-1 pkt
  16. Coriander for garnishing


  1. Dry roast oats in a pan.
  2. Chop all vegetables.
  3. Take olive oil in a pan.Add cumin seeds when oil heats up.
  4. Add green chillies and curry leaves.
  5. Add chopped onions.Saute for a minute.
  6. Add carrots ,beans and peas.Add salt and cover.Cook for 2 minutes.
  7. Add capsicum and tomatoes.Again cover and cook till vegetables are cooked.
  8. Add 2 cups water and the spices.
  9. When water starts boiling add the roasted oats and lemon juice.
  10. Stir and mix properly.Cover and cook till the water dries up and oats are cooked.
  11. Garnish with coriander and serve hot.
