ABOUT Barley porridge with almond RECIPE

This recipe is mainly for elderly people who can have all enriching vitamins in one simple porridge. Barley rich in fiber is soaked overnight and pressure cooked and added to palm sugar, milk and topped with almond.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Barley 1cup
  2. Palm sugar 3 teaspoon
  3. Milk 3 cup
  4. Almond 7
  5. Salt a pinch or two
  6. Water 2cup

Instructions

  1. Soak barley overnight.
  2. Wash them thrice and pressure cook barely with salt and water.
  3. Add boiled milk and palm sugar and top with almond.
