Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. rice 1cup( gobindo bhog/ basmati)
  2. mung dal 3/4 cup
  3. salt to taste
  4. sugar 1 tsp
  5. turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
  6. cumin seeds 1/2 tsp
  7. bay leaf
  8. ghee 2 tsp
  9. raisin 3tbsp

Instructions

  1. At first take a heated pan and add mung dal for fry. Fry it with out oil or ghee.when it looks golden brown turn off the gas.
  2. take rice in a large bowl and wash it carefully.
  3. Add 1tsp of ghee in a pan to fry raisins and take aside.
  4. Add cumin seeds and bay leaf in ghee after that add fried mung dal and rice fry it,
  5. Add salt,turmeric powder, sugar and fried raisins, add water 4cups cover it.When it start to boil cover it for 5-7 minutes.
  6. Add 1tsp ghee in it and give it standing time for 2 minutes.
  7. At last serve it to your kid.
