ABOUT Matar Panir. RECIPE

This is a delicious curry made with peas and panir, that can be served with some hot rotis on the side.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 cup green peas
  2. 100gm cottage cheese
  3. 2.onion
  4. 2 tomato
  5. Salt 2 taste
  6. 1/4tsp cumin seeds
  7. 1/4tsp red chilli powder
  8. 1/4tsp garam masala
  9. 1/4tsp turmeric powder

Instructions

  1. Heat some oil in a pressure cooker pan. Add cumin seeds.
  2. Make a puree of the onion and tomatoes.
  3. Now add this pureed paste into the cooker pan, and saute for few minutes.
  4. Add salt and powdered masalas.
  5. Saute well
  6. Add the green peas and let the masala get cooked well.
  7. Add 2 cups of water.
  8. Close the lid and Cook until 2 whistles are attained.
  9. Open the lid and add the paneer cubes.
  10. Sprinkle some garam masala powder and mix well. Serve.

You can add some chopped coriander leaves for garnishing.
