Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. 2 cup refined flour (maida)
  2. 1 cup milk
  3. 2 tbsp semolina (rava)
  4. 1 cup powdered sugar
  5. 1 egg yolk
  6. 2 tbsp butter
  7. 1 tsp green cardamon powder

Instructions

  1. combine flour, semolina and some of sugar in a bowl
  2. add egg yolk, butter and milk and mix well, Add some water and knead into a soft dough.
  3. heat oil in a kadhai , divide the dough into small equal portions.
  4. place a portion against the lines of the fork to form kulkul
  5. deepfry them into hot oil till golden & crisp.
  6. drain on absorbent paper
  7. mix remaining sugar and cardamom powder into bowl, add kulkul and mix well
  8. Serve and store as required.
