Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Gram Flour/Besan atta 3 tbsp
  2. Ajwain 1/2 tsp
  3. Dahi/Thick Curd 1 tsp
  4. Saunf 1/2 ts
  5. Black pepper powder 1/2 tsp
  6. Mustard/Rai 1 tsp
  7. Hing a pinch
  8. Red Chilli/Lalmirch powder 1/2 tsp
  9. Soda bi carb a pinch
  10. Oil 2 tsp
  11. Turmeric /Haldi 1/2 tsp
  12. Salt 1 tsp


  1. Make semi hard dough mixing above mentioned ingredients like besan, oil, curds, salt, ajwain, saunf, soda, lalmirch powder, haldi & pepper powder.
  2. Make cylindrical rolls. Boil in water for about 10 minutes. cool. Chop into thick pieces. Save water in which you have boiled gatttas to make gravy
  3. For gravy: In a kadai put oil/ ghee. Add rai, hing, jeera & boiled gatta water. Add salt, haldi, lalmirch powder. Into this add 1 katori or less dahi/ thick curd. Stir continuously.
  4. After some time put chopped pieces of gattas. Cover & cook for about five minutes. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves
