ABOUT Creamy Mushroom Corn Soup RECIPE

Quick and easy yummilicious and scrumptious creamy soup made with mushroom corn and bread. It is a no cream soup and using bread makes the soup cream and taste awesome,good for pregnant woman.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 15 nos large button mushroom
  2. ¼ cup sweet corn boiled
  3. 2 bread slices
  4. 1 large onion sliced
  5. Cracked peppercorns for seasoning
  6. Salt for seasoning
  7. 1 tbsp butter
  8. 2 cups milk
  9. I cup water
  10. Spring Onion greens for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat butter in a pan. Add the sliced onion and saute till it turns soft.
  2. Add sliced mushroom, season with salt and cracked peppercorns and saute for about 10 mins.
  3. In a blender add the mushroom, bread slices, water and grind them to a smooth puree.
  4. Put the puree back to the pan and bring to boil.
  5. Now add milk and simmer for 2-3 mins and take off the heat.
  6. Garnish with boiled sweet corn, spring onion greens and drizzle milk and serve.
