ABOUT Rabdi parfait RECIPE

Yogurt /cream parfait we all make and have eaten. This time I’ve made parfait with rabdi and a secret ingredient used for the instant rabdi is bread. Try out this yummilicious parfait with rabdi, cake and motichoor laddoo. Yes a fusion version of the parfait, please do try out.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. for the Rabdi
  2. 300 ml full cream milk
  3. 2 bread slices ( brown bread)
  4. 1/2 cup Sugar
  5. Few strands of Saffron
  6. For the parfait
  7. 1/2 cup chocolate sponge cake
  8. 1 motichoor laddoo
  9. cherries, for garnish


  1. First of all, to make the rabdi take a mixer grinder and make bread crumbs of the bread slices.
  2. In a pan,take milk and let it come to a boil. Add the saffron strands and bread crumbs to the milk.
  3. Let the milk simmer for 2-3 mins on medium flame and then add the sugar.
  4. Once the sugar dissolves, cover and cook for 1-2 mins more and then switch off the gas.
  5. Let the rabdi cool a bit then assemble the parfait.
  6. For the assembly, put a layer of rabdi, top it with crumbled chocolate sponge cake and then with the crumbled laddoo.
  7. Repeat the layers of rabdi and sponge cake and garnish with cherries and serve cold.
