ABOUT SEYALA BREAD ( Green Masala Bread) RECIPE

Delicious and flavourful bread made with green masala .. a very popular Sindhi breakfast loved by many.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. (For Green Masala)
  2. coriander Leaves.....1 cup
  3. mint leaves ........... 1/2 cup
  4. Green Chillies........2
  5. Onions................1 chopped
  6. Tomatoes...........1 chopped
  7. Garlic.................7 to 8 cloves
  8. ginger ...............1 inch piece
  9. (Other Ingredients)
  10. Bread slices .... 4
  11. coriander powder .. 1/4 tsp
  12. cumin powder ...... 1/4 tsp
  13. turmeric powder .. 1/4 tsp
  14. Red chilli powder .. 1/4 tsp ( optional)
  15. salt ... to taste
  16. oil ... 4 tbsps

Instructions

  1. Grind together all the ingredients mentioned in the green masala list.
  2. In a pan heat oil and saute the green masala for a minute or two.
  3. Add the salt and the mentioned spice powders. Mix well.
  4. Spread the prepared green masala in between the bread slices and a little on top and bottom to cover them.
  5. In a flat pan spread a little oil and put the bread slices, one on top of the other making a sandwich.
  6. Toast it on a low flame, pressing with a spatula .Cut it and serve immediately.
