Ingredients to make Chicken tandoori masala

  • For chicken marinade...
  • curd 100 gms
  • chicken 1/2 kg (2 leg pieces)
  • Tandoori masala 1 tbsp
  • ginger garlic paste 2 tsp
  • oil 1 tbsp
  • lemon 1
  • green chilly paste 2 tsp
  • salt to taste
  • Orange red color (optional)
  • For masala....
  • Leftover marinade
  • Zeera powder 1 tsp
  • oil 2 tbsp
  • Coriender for garnishing

How to make Chicken tandoori masala

  1. WASH CHICKEN LEG PIECES N DRY IT USING TOWEL OR TISSUE PAPER.. MAKE SLITS ON EACH SIDE OF A PIECE. NOW TAKE A BOWL ADD ALL THE INGREDIENTS MENTIONED UNDER "CHICKEN MARINADE"..
  2. MIX EVERYTHING WELL..
  3. ADD CHICKEN PIECES N MARINATE IT FOR ATLEAST 4 TO 5 HRS. PUT IT IN REFRIGERATOR.
  4. NOW PRE HEAT THE OVEN ON 250 DEGREES FOR 10 MINUTES. BAKE IT FOR 45 MINUTES ON 250 DEGREES FLIPPING THE SIDES INBETWEEN.
  5. GIVE IT A SMOKEY TOUCH KEEPING IT DIRECTLY ON FLAME USING TANDOORI GRILL.
  6. ADD OIL IN A PAN. ADD LEFTOVER CHICKEN MARINADE, ZEERA POWDER, CORIENDER INTO PAN N SAUTE TILL THE MASALA GETS LITTLE THICK.
  7. NOW ADD TANDOORI LEG PIECE. FLIP THE SIDE AND COVER IT WITH MASALA.
  8. TANDOORI CHICKEN MASALA IS READY.
  9. YOU CAN SURVE IT WITH BREAD OR NAAN WHATEVER YOU LIKE. ENJOY.....
