Soak 2 cups of urad Dal for 5 hrs and then grind it into a fine and thick paste.
Add some salt and black pepper. Mix everything well and fry this in hot oil. Remove the vada from the oil and soak the vada in cold water for about 10 minutes.
Add 2 teaspoon of oil in a pan and add few curry leaves. Add this to curd mix. Now put the vada in the curd mix. Serve this on top with some alo dum curry, some finely chopped onion and sev.
For aloo curry: Take oil in a pan and add jeera and kadipatta patta. Now add onion and tomato and saute for sometime.
Now add turmeric powder, salt, red chilli powder, coriander powder and jeera powder. Cook for sometime.
Add some water, cook for 5 Minutes and add alo to it. Cook for 3-4 minutes. When it thickens remove it from gas and garnish with corainder leaves.
SERVING: 2
