This protein rich halwa is really flavourful and is an easy to make dish.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Eggs 2
  2. Milk 1/2 cup
  3. Sugar 1+1/2 tbsp
  4. Ghee 2 tspn
  5. Cardamom powder 1/4 tspn
  6. Almonds 4
  7. Cashew nuts 2
  8. Dry coconut 1 tspn
  9. Raisins 4-5

Instructions

  1. Take a bowl and add eggs,milk and sugar into it and whisk the mixture till it is mixed well and the sugar is dissolved.
  2. Heat ghee in a pan and add all the dry fruits and saute them for some time or till they become slight golden.
  3. Now add the egg milk mixture and cardamom powder and keep stirring continuously since it may stick to the pan.
  4. Cook the halwa on low flame till it becomes thick and all the water dries up(water is present due to sugar and milk) or until the halwa do not stick to the pan.
  5. Add some edible color to the halwa for a good look and mix well then switch off the gas.
  6. Egg halwa is ready to serve!

Hey! Its seems awesome. And I have never heard of Egg Halwa. This is a dish which should be tried at least once. I will try this today if someone is ready to do my dissertation on behalf of me.
