ABOUT Ginger chutney RECIPE

Very Healthy breakfast recipe , very good side dish for any kind of dosa, puri, chappathi, variety rice

Ingredients Serving: 1

  1. Gingelly Oil 4 - 5 tsp
  2. Ginger 50 g
  3. Tamarind - 2 pinch
  4. Urad dal - 1 tsp
  5. Coconut - 2-3 tsp
  6. Red chilly - 1 or 2
  7. Salt
  8. Mustard seeds
  9. Curry leaves
  10. Jaggery - 1 tsp

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan, saute ulundhu and red chilly for 1 min and keep aside.
  2. On the same pan, saute ginger for 2 to 3 mins and keep aside.
  3. On the same pan and add mustard and curry leaves. Let them crackle for a minute and switch off the flame.
  4. Add coconut, ulundhu, red chilli(s), tamarind, jaggery, ginger and salt and grind it. Now Ginger chutney is ready.
  5. Add the mustard seeds & curry leaves mixture to the above chutney.
