ABOUT Shavige RECIPE

This is a quick recipe for breakfast made with shavige [vermicelli], which is healthy and delicious to eat.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Shavige [vermicelli] - 1 cup
  2. Sweet corn - 1/4 th cup
  3. Coconut - 1 cup
  4. Oil
  5. Mustard seeds
  6. Cashew
  7. Dry grapes
  8. Onion - 1
  9. Urad dal - 1tbs
  10. Peanuts - 1 tbs
  11. Chilli-2
  12. Salt
  13. Coriander leaves

Instructions

  1. Boil the vermicelli and the sweet corns, drain and add 1 tbsp of oil so that they don't get sticky, and keep aside.
  2. Heat some oil in a pan.
  3. Add Mustard seed, peanuts, cashew, dry grapes, and urad dal, let them splutter.
  4. Now add chilli, Onion and saute.
  5. Now add boiled shavige and sweet corn..
  6. Add salt, Coconut and coriander leaves , give this a good mix.
  7. Serve hot
