Another easy breakfast dish , with raw rice, coconut , cooked rice, jeera & curd. a tasty dosa goes well with onion chutney or coconut chutney.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Raw rice 1 cup
  2. Grated coconut 3/4 cup
  3. Cooked Rice 1/2 cup
  4. Curd 1/4 cup
  5. jeera (cumin)
  6. Salt to taste
  7. enough water to grind.
  8. For onion chutney
  9. Small Onion 10
  10. red chillies 8 or 9
  11. Salt
  12. coconut oil 2 tsp.

Instructions

  1. soak rice for 3,4 hours
  2. grind the rice , grated coconut , cooked rice & salt to a fine paste adding enough water & curd to make the consistency of dosa batter
  3. add jeera & stir well.
  4. no need to keep for fermentation. we can make immediately.
  5. make dosa as usual dosa. have it with onion chutney.
  6. To make onion chutney
  7. grind all ingredients together without adding water.
  8. add coconut oil while serving.
