Aloo puri is such an yummy combo that it is truely irresistible, this is my way of making it, so if you would like to try this at home, please follow this quick and easy recipe for the same.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Wheat flour - 1 cup
  2. Boiled and mashed potato - 2 medium size potato
  3. Semolina /suji - 2 tbsp
  4. Red chilly powder - 1/2 tsp
  5. Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
  6. Chopped coriander leaves - 1 tbsp
  7. Carom seeds - a pinch
  8. Onion seeds - a pinch
  9. Salt - to taste
  10. Oil - for frying

Instructions

  1. Take a large bowl add wheat flour,semolina/suji,turmeric powder,red chilly powder,salt,carom seeds,onion seeds,coriander leaves,2 tbsp oil and boiled n mashed potato and mix well.
  2. To get crumble texture.
  3. Make a dough with little water.
  4. Cover with muslin cloth and keep aside for 30 mins.
  5. Make small size ball out of it and roll out puri.
  6. Heat enough oil in a pan and add the puri.
  7. Lower the heat and fry till light brown.
  8. Serve hot.
