Ingredients to make Station wale tamatar aloo puri

  • For masala puri
  • 2 cups wheat/multi grain flour
  • 2 tbsp oil for moyan
  • 1 tsp chilly powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp carrom seeds
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • Lukewarm water as need to knead the dough
  • oil for frying puries
  • For aloo tamatar
  • 2 big size potatoes chopped in cubes
  • 1 big tomato chopped
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 pinch asofetida / hing
  • salt to taste
  • 2 tsp kashmiri chilli powder
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tbsp coriander powder
  • 1 tbsp amchur /dry mango powder
  • 2 cup water
  • 2 serving spoon oil
  • Chopped coriander for garnish

How to make Station wale tamatar aloo puri

  1. First we will make aloo tamatar
  2. Heat oil in cooker
  3. Add hing add cumin seeds
  4. Add chopped aloo add all spices
  5. Add water
  6. Add chopped tomatoes and coriander
  7. Mix well. Cover the cooker
  8. Give two full whistle and one whistle on low flame
  9. Switch off the flame.
  10. Now will make puris
  11. In a big bowl add wheat flour
  12. Add salt, oil, chilli powder
  13. Add turmeric powder and carrom seed. Add water and make stiff dough.
  14. Cover it and keep it aside for 10 minutes.
  15. Meanwhile hot oil.
  16. Divide the dough in small lemon size balls.
  17. Roll it. And fry it on medium hot oil.
  18. Serve hot yummy puries with aloo tamatar ki sabji.. Enjoy famous station food in your sunday morning
