ABOUT Gajar ka halwa RECIPE

It is very easily made with six ingredients. Carrots are very beneficial for everyone specially for children. And on the other hand, nuts and khoya provides other benefits .its a powerpack of vitamins, protien and fiber.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Carrots grated 4 cup
  2. Ghee 2 tablespoon
  3. Sugar 3/4 cup
  4. Milk 1/2 cup
  5. Cardamom powder 1 teaspoon
  6. Nuts ( almond, cashews, pistachio) chpped 1/2 cup

Instructions

  1. Put the grated carrots in a pan. And cook till water evaporates.
  2. Add ghee and cook for 2 minutes.
  3. Now add sugar and stir constantly cook till all water releases due to sugar evaporates, and carrots become dry.
  4. Add milk at this stage. It helps in softening the carrots. And cook till milk absorbed. Stir constantly.
  5. When its done add caradamom powder and mix well.
  6. Now put of the flame and add khoya and chopped nuts. Mix well.
  7. Your gajar ka halwa is ready to eat.
