Egg Omelette

Ingredients to make Egg Omelette

  • eggs - 2
  • onion Medium– 1/2 finely chopped
  • tomato – 1/2 medium Finely chopped, (without seeds and pulp)
  • Finely chopped coriander leaves – 1 tbsp.
  • turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Garam masala – ½ tsp
  • freshly ground black pepper – ½ tsp
  • red chilli powder – ¼ tsp
  • salt to taste
  • oil – ½ tbsp

How to make Egg Omelette

  1. In a deep bowl take eggs, finely chopped onion, tomato, coriander leaves, salt, garam masala, red chilli powder, freshly ground black pepper and turmeric. Whisk well until frothy.
  2. In a nonstick pan heat oil. Pour prepared egg mixture. Spread it evenly.
  3. Cook on low medium heat till omlette is firm and releases its sides.
  4. Flip it and cook from other side for 1 minute.
  5. Serve hot with brown bread or chapati or dal rice.

My Tip:

Medium hot green chilli can be added instead of red chilli powder. Always cook omlette on low or medium flame for even cooking. veggies of your choice can be added.
