This is a tasty and delicious recipe of kachoris made with fenugreek leaves , a perfect accompaniment for the evening tea.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Methi leaves - 100gms
  2. Maida - 1 cup
  3. Ajwain [carom seeds] - a pinch
  4. Salt - to taste
  5. Oil - 1 cup


  1. Wash and chopped methi leaves.
  2. In a kneading bowl add methi leaves, maida, salt, ajwain, mangrail and one tbsp oil and mix well.
  3. Make a stiff dough with the help of water.
  4. . Keep aside for 15 mins.
  5. Divide the dough into equal size balls.
  6. .Sprinkle a little flour and roll them with a rolling pin to approximately 2.5 inch diameter
  7. Heat oil in a wok, deep fry the kachori in a medium flame and fry till light brown.
  8. Drain extra oil in paper napkin
  9. Serve hot.
