The star ingredient used by me in this aromatic and delicious chole variety speaks for itself. Kasoori methi is such a little munchkin that can be used and blended in almost anything and everything under the sun. The aroma and taste that it imparts to any dish is just priceless. Try this easy recipe for your families this Ramadan and iam sure they will lick their plates clean. Happy Ramadan Friends !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Chickpeas canned 400 gm
  2. Grated ginger 1 tbsp
  3. Salt 1 tbsp
  4. Onions chopped 2
  5. Ciba taaza spices Kasoori methi 3 tsp
  6. Ciba taaza Garam masala 1 tsp
  7. Ciba taaza Kashmiri red chilli powder 1 tbsp
  8. Lemon juice 1 tbsp
  9. Chana masala 1 tbsp
  10. oil 2 tbsp


  1. In a pan, heat oil and add grated ginger at first.
  2. Followed by chopped onions.
  3. Saute it until translucent.
  4. Now add the rest of the spices.
  5. And finally the canned and drained chickpeas.
  6. Mix well and simmer on low heat for 10 minutes.
  7. After 5 minutes, add in the kasoori methi which is the star ingredient here.
  8. Cover and cook for the remaining 5 minutes in order to blend the flavour of kasoori methi really well with the chole.
  9. Squeeze a small lemon just before serving along with some raw chopped onions.
  10. Enjoy this super delicious chole with family and friends.
