Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Dosa rice 1 glass
  2. urad dal 1 cup
  3. Methi dana 1 tbsp
  4. Chivda 1 tbsp
  5. Cooked rice 1 cup
  6. For Chutney
  7. Coconut 1/2 cup
  8. Peanuts 1 cup
  9. Tamarind paste pinch depends on tanginess
  10. Red Chillies 2
  11. Zeera powder tsp.
  12. Lasan 2 piece
  13. Corisnder leaves a bunch


  1. Grind urad dal and keep aside.
  2. Grind other rice ingredients and mix with urad dal
  3. keep the batter for ferment overnight
  4. Add salt and make idlis in idli cooker.
  5. the same batter u use for dosa so prepare crispy dosa with chutney
  6. For chutney Grind all ingredients mentioned for peanuts chutney
  7. For coconut chutney don't add redchilli.. and tamarind add green coriander leaves to it garnish with curry patta and mustard temepering
