Chinese Stir Fry

Ingredients to make Chinese Stir Fry

  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 cups finely sliced carrot
  • 1 cup chopped capsicum
  • 1 cup sliced onions
  • 1 cup cabbage
  • 1 cup cauliflower
  • 1 cup beans sliced
  • 4-5 cloves garlic finely chopped
  • 2 inches fresh ginger grated
  • 2 spoons soy sauce
  • 3-4 spoons Szechuan sauce
  • salt to taste
  • Basil and chopped cilantro 1 cup
  • 4-5 red chillies
  • 3 spoons oil
  • Powdered peanuts 2 spoons
  • 1 cup cooked jasmine rice

How to make Chinese Stir Fry

  1. To make the Szechuan sauce heat oil in a pan add 2 cloves garlic and red chillies
  2. Sauté this and grind well in a blender
  3. Heat oil in a wok or pan and add the chopped ginger garlic
  4. Sauté for a minute until the nice aroma of garlic and ginger come out
  5. Now add the sliced onions and cabbage and sauté for couple of minutes
  6. Add all the other vegetables and sauté well
  7. Add the salt, soy sauce and Szechuan sauce
  8. Serve with chopped cilantro , powdered peanuts and basil and jasmine rice

My Tip:

Using a wok which can cook faster is key to making a great stir fry
