It is very tasty sweet and made in very less time. No oil, no ghee receipe is very nutritious. Especially favourite of children.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Coconut scraped 2 cup
  2. Mawa 1 cup
  3. Sugar 1 cup or to taste
  4. Green cardamom powder 2 teaspoon
  5. Chopped nuts ( almonds , pistachio, cashews)
  6. Almonds 12 chopped into halves for garnishing


  1. First put the mawa into a pan and cook till it turns light brown.
  2. Stir constantly on low flame otherwise it will burn.
  3. After this off the flame and add sugar and stir constantly
  4. After this add caradamom powder and mix well.
  5. Now add coconut and mix well.
  6. Now add chopped nuts.
  7. When you can take it into hand make ladoos from it and garnish with halved almonds.
  8. Your coconut mawa laddo is ready.
