Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Finely chopped carrot - 2
  2. Finely chopped beetroot - 1
  3. Finely chopped potato - 2
  4. Peas - 1/4 cup
  5. Green chilly - 2
  6. Grated ginger - 1 inch stick
  7. Cumin seeds powder - 1 tsp
  8. Red chilly powder - 1/4 tsp
  9. Salt - to taste
  10. Oil - 2 tbsp
  11. Corn flour - 2 tbsp
  12. Bread crumbs - 1/2 cup
  13. For burger
  14. Burger bun - 2
  15. Mayonnaise - 2 tbsp
  16. Onion slice - 2
  17. Tomato slice - 2
  18. Lettuce leaves - 2

Instructions

  1. Blanch all the veggies in a pressure cooker
  2. Mash all the veggies and add salt,ginger,green chilly,red chilly powder,cumin seeds powder and corn flour and mix well
  3. Shape each ball to flat patties of medium thickness
  4. All the balls are made in the same way.
  5. Coat with brad crumbs
  6. Heat oil on a pan and shallow fry the veggie tikki in a medium flame
  7. Cut the burger into the middle
  8. Spread butter and shallow fry the burger
  9. Place the lettuce leave on one piece of burger
  10. Add onion slice,veg tikki,mayonnaise and tomato slice.
  11. Now cover with burger piece and serve
