Ingredients to make Veggie burger

  • For veg patty
  • 2 large potatoes
  • 1 chopped carrot
  • 100g peas fresh or frozen
  • 1 medium Chopped onion
  • 2 Chopped green chili
  • 20g chopped beans
  • 2 tablespoon coriander
  • 1/2 tablespoon ginger garlic paste
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • Pinch black pepper
  • salt to test
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs for coating
  • oil for Deep frying
  • For toppings:
  • 1 small to medium onion - thinly sliced
  • butter for buns
  • 4 sesame seeds buns
  • for burger sauce dressing:
  • 3 tablespoon dr oetker mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoon dr oetker thousand island source
  • 2 Tablespoon tomato sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oregano flakes
  • 1 teaspoon chilli flakes
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

How to make Veggie burger

  1. preparing the patties: ( tikkies)
  2. now rinse and steam 2 potatoes carrots, beans, peas cook all the veggies in pressure cooker for three whistles. once cooked drain well the veggies. there should be no water in them.
  3. mashed the all veggies add all spices. mix everything well and keep aside.
  4. add chopped onions, chopped green chilli, ginger garlic paste, mix well. and make round shape patties from this batter then coat with bread crumbs.
  5. keep all tikkies( patties ) in freezer for 15 minuets.
  6. then take out tikkies ( patties )from freezer.
  7. heat oil in pan. fry tikkies one by one for both sides. keep all fried veg tikkies aside.
  8. preparing mayonnaise dressing & toppings:
  9. slice the burger buns in equal halves. spread some butter on the slices. heat a small pan and toast the butter side.
  10. now spread the mayonnaise, tomato sauce , thousand island sauce on the crisp side.
  11. place the 2 veggie tikkies (patties) in side.
  12. apply again mayonnaise and tomato sauce on tikkies top, spread oregano , and chilli flakes
  13. place the buns on top of each other. the vegetable burger is ready. make all veg burgers this way.
  14. serve these delicious homemade vegetable burger with some tomato ketchup or mustard sauce.

My Tip:

You can add mustard sauce in this burger I don’t like much mustard sauce so that’s why not added:) thanks
