Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 300 gm mushrooms.
  2. 1 tbsp crushed peppercorn.
  3. 1 tsp lime juice.
  4. 1 tsp garlic paste.
  5. salt to taste.
  6. 1 cup crushed breadcrumbs+ oats
  7. oil to deep fry.
  8. FOR THE BATTER
  9. 1 cup maida.
  10. ½ cup cornflour.
  11. 2 chopped green chillies.
  12. 2 tbsp grated cheese.

Instructions

  1. Wash the mushrooms and pat dry.Marinate it with peppercorn,lime juice,garlic paste and salt for 30 mins.
  2. Spread the breadcrumbs and oats on a plate and keep aside.
  3. Make a batter of maida,cornflour,green chillies and cheese by adding enough water and make a smooth paste.
  4. Insert a toothpick through the stem of mushroom.Dip it in the batter and roll it with breadcrumbs.
  5. Heat oil in a pan and deep fry the mushroom lollipops till crunchy and golden brown. Serve it with tomato ketchup.
