Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. For fillings
  2. 3 cups of green peas(matar)
  3. 4-5 garlic
  4. 1/2 tsp cummin seed(jeera)
  5. 1 big bowl fresh coriander leaves
  6. 5-6 green chilli
  7. 1 tsp Salt
  8. For dough preparation
  9. 2 cups o wheat flour
  10. pinch of carrim seed ajwain
  11. Water for kneading
  12. Salt optional
  13. ghee/oil for applying on paratha


  1. Heat oil in a Pan and add cumin seed and garlic cloves.
  2. sautte..till garlic is light brown
  3. Add green peas
  4. Cook the peas till it become soft and mashable.. .mostly it take 5 to 10 minutes
  5. Now in mixer grinder jar add chopped green chilli,
  6. Add chopped coriander leaves in mixer jar
  7. Now add cooked green peas in jar
  8. Grind this mixture to a paste
  9. seek to it that there is no whole peas left if present, mash it with hand/masher. Add salt to this filling and mix well
  10. Now for dough preparation Add carrom seed (ajwain) in wheat flour and mix well
  11. make it soft dough by adding water and kneading it
  12. Now make a small balls from this dough
  13. flatten the ball with hand
  14. add the fillings basically 1 tsp..but can add according to your need
  15. close it and flatten it with you palm
  16. roll it with rolling pin on both side to make it roti
  17. heat your Roti pan and place the paratha on it
  18. apply 1 tsp oil/ghee both side and keep flipping both side till it is cooked
