Modok stuffied with sapota filling in incredibly rich in vitamin-A, vitamin-C, vitamin B-12,it is rich in calcium, phosphorus,iron, protein.it is a great energy boosting food.sapota fixes irritable bowel Syndrome.& Constipation problem.it keeps our bones strong.control blood pressure.remove toxins from our body.it keeps skin & hair healthy and shiny.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Rice flour. 1 cup
  2. Water. 1&1/2 cup
  3. Salt. 1/2 tsp
  4. Sapota. Paste. 1/2 cup
  5. Chopped nuts 3 tbs
  6. Butter. 1&1/2 tbs
  7. Sugar. 1 tbs
  8. Rose water. 1 tbs
  9. Samolina. 1/2 cup
  10. Cardamom powder. 1/2 tsp
  11. Cream milk. 250 ml

Instructions

  1. Cut sapota diagonally and remove seeds.
  2. Take flashy portion of sapota with a spoon.
  3. Mashed it properly.
  4. Filling procidure::four_leaf_clover::blossom::maple_leaf::heart:
  5. In a large pan transfer milk.add sugar.give it stir.
  6. Boil it when sugar dissolves keep it aside.
  7. Melt butter,add semolina.stir continuously with a wooden spoon.
  8. Allow semolina to absorb butter.when u get a very nice fragrance of frird semolina add milk mixture prepared earlier.
  9. Give it a continuous stir that it wouldn't stick in pan.
  10. Cook in low flame untill it thickend.
  11. Add sapota paste, cardamom powder,rose water, chopped nuts.mix well & Turn off heat.
  12. How to make Dough:
  13. Add salt in boiling water.
  14. Add rice flour,stir well.when it formed ,turn off heat.
  15. Allow it 3/4 minutes to rest in covered.
  16. Kneading well make it very soft and smooth.make 7/8 balls from dough.
  17. Oil :raised_hand: hands and make small bowl with dough.
  18. Create design with tooth pick.u can make different shaped Modok if I want.
  19. Steam all sapota Modok/ sapota rice cakes for 10-12 minutes.
