Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Whole wheat 2 cups
  2. Cornmeal 1 cup
  3. Garlic 50 grams (crushed)
  4. Curd 1 cup
  5. Green coriander 1/2cup (chopped)
  6. Baking powder 1/2 tspoon
  7. Baking soda 1 pinch
  8. Salt 1 tspoon
  9. sugar 1 tbspoon
  10. Kalonji 2 tspoon
  11. Lukewarm water 1/4 cup
  12. Refined oil 1 tbspoon
  13. Butter (to apply naan)


  1. Firstly mix wheat flour and corn flour.
  2. Add salt and sugar.
  3. Then mix baking powder baking soda and lukewarm water in flour.
  4. Add curd in the flour mixture.
  5. Now knead dough properly for 5 to 10 minutes.
  6. Apply some oil to it and again knead dough for some seconds.
  7. Cover the dough with a lid.
  8. Iet it stay as it is for 2 hour.
  9. Now firstly mix crushed garlic and coriander.
  10. Make balls of dough.
  11. Now flatten a dough with a rollar pin in oval shape.
  12. Apply 1 tspoon of garlic coriander mixture and some kalonji on flatten dough and tap it with hand.
  13. Now again roll it with roller pin.
  14. Apply water to its opposite side.
  15. Put naan on hot iron tava on medium flame.
  16. When see bubbles on naan and its starts cooking.
  17. At that time turn tava towards flame and cook the upper side of naan.
  18. Take it (naan) on a plate and apply butter to it
  19. Healthy garlic naan is ready to serve .
