ABOUT Spicy Samosa RECIPE

Samosas are popular Indian snacks served with tea, so this is my way of making them at home.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. All purpose flour 1 cup
  2. Oil as required
  3. Onion 1
  4. Potato 2
  5. Green chilli 1
  6. Ginger 1/2 tsp
  7. Garlic 1/2 tsp
  8. Garam masala 1 tsp
  9. Salt as required
  10. Red chilli powder 1 tsp
  11. Lemon juice 1/2 tsp
  12. Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp

Instructions

  1. In bowl add flour,oil and salt mix together.add little water and knead the mixture to make a soft dough.keep it aside for 30 min.
  2. Again beat the dough.and set aside.
  3. To Inside Filling:::: In pan heat oil,add onion saute it.after add ginger,garlic,turmeric powder,chilli powder,garam masala.
  4. After add potato.cook for 5-8 min.add lemon juice.
  5. Cook for 5 min.set aside and cool it.
  6. Now divide the dough into 3-4 pieces.after roll it like oval shape using rolling pin
  7. Cut into 2 half.roll around finger to make cone.
  8. Now fill the potato mixture inside the cone.seal the third side by using moist finger.
  9. Deep fry the samosas.cook in medium flame.
  10. Serve it hot with sauce.
