Ingredients to make Curry Leaves Fish Curry

  • Fish - 6 big pieces
  • curry leaves - 2 cups
  • garlic crushed - 2 tbsp
  • turmeric powder - 1 tbsp
  • oil - ¼ cup
  • water as required
  • salt to taste

How to make Curry Leaves Fish Curry

  1. Make a paste of the curry leaves with 1 cup of water. Keep aside.
  2. Heat oil in a pan. When the oil is hot add 1 tsp turmeric powder, salt to taste and the fish pieces. Half fry the fish in the hot oil. Drain the fish and keep aside.
  3. Add 1 tbsp Oil in a pan (Use the same oil used for frying the fish). Add the crushed garlic and fry till brown.
  4. Add salt to taste, remaining turmeric powder and the curry leaves paste and let it come to a boil.
  5. Add the fried fishes, cover the pan and cook on high heat for 12-15 mins.
  6. Add salt if required and adjust the gravy consistency as per your requirement and take off the heat.
