Oats are gluten free and is known for controlling blood pressure and cholesterol levels. This cookie recipe is Sugarfree and contains the goodness of honey, coconut and almonds besides oats

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. 1/2 cup almond sliced in flakes/powdered
  2. 1/2 cup desiccated coconut
  3. 2 cup rolled oats
  4. 1/3 cup organic honey
  5. 1/2 cup wheat flour
  6. 1 cup butter chilled
  7. 1 cup roasted Amaranth seeds
  8. 1 ts baking soda

Instructions

  1. preheat oven to 180 degree celcius
  2. combine oats, coconut, almonds, amaranth seeds, flour and baking soda in a mixing bowl. Mix well
  3. melt butter in a saucepan
  4. Add honey to the dry ingredients and mix roughly
  5. Add butter gradually to make a sticky and thick dough
  6. scoop equal amount /Golf ball sized portions of the dough and align on baking tray keeping 2 fingers distance between them
  7. bake for 10-12 minutes or until done
  8. store airtight
