Ingredients to make Tiranga packet

  • carrot halwa
  • 500 gm carrot grated
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1cup Milk
  • 1/2 cup ghee
  • elaichi powder ( 1/4 tsp)
  • Green peas halwa(matar)
  • 2 cup grinded matar
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup ghee
  • elaichi powder(1/4 tsp
  • papaya halwa
  • one small size raw papaya cut in cubes
  • 4-5 tbsp ghee
  • elaichi powder 1/4 tsp
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 250 gm Khoya
  • 13 cloves( lavang)
  • 1cup maida
  • 1-2 tsp ghee
  • oil for Deep frying

How to make Tiranga packet

  1. heat the pan and add ghee and carrot and the cook for while and then add milk ,sugar and elaichi powder
  2. Cook the carrot till it leaven ghee
  3. now for matar halwa..add ghee in hot pan and add matar..Cook till it raw flavour doesn't go.(taste it in between)
  4. Add sugar and elaichi powder to it and cook till it leavens ghee

  6. Dough preparation. .. . Add 1 -2 tsp of ghee in maida...and prepare a dough and then divide into 13 balls .Roll the balls like roti
  7. first spread 1 tsp of matar halwa ...
  8. next spread 1 tsp of papaya halwa
  9. Lastly spread..1 tsp .carrot halwa
  10. start wrapping from one side
  11. start wrapping from other side
  12. fold from third side
  13. and lastly fold from other side
  14. pin up with the cloves
  15. heat the pan and add oil for deep frying . Fry at low flame till it turns brown.
