My Mumma's style Maggie!

Ingredients to make My Mumma's style Maggie!

  • 2 packets of vegetable atta noodles
  • 1/4 cup carrots cut into big juliennes
  • 1/4 cup cauliflower florets cut in bigger size a bit
  • 1/4 cup green peas
  • 1/4 cup cabbage cut into big juliennes
  • 1/2 cup of red, yellow and green bell peppers cut into big juliennes
  • One big onion cut into long pieces
  • Puree of 3 medium size tomatoes
  • 2 tbsp paste of ginger garlic and green chillies
  • One packet of Maggie masala
  • 1 tbsp soya sauce
  • 2 tsp red chilli sauce
  • 3 tbsp of tomato ketchup
  • 1 tsp of sugar
  • salt to taste
  • 3 cups of water to boil Maggie
  • For Tempering:
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1/2 bay leaf
  • 6-7 curry leaves
  • 4-5 black peppers
  • 1/2 tsp jeera [cumin seeds]
  • 1/2 tsp rai dana [mustard seeds]
  • 1" long piece of cinnamon stick

How to make My Mumma's style Maggie!

  1. Cut the vegetables
  2. In a non-stick pan put all the ingredients of tempering and heat it.
  3. After rai dana starts crackling and the cut vegetables and the ginger, garlic and green chilli paste.
  4. Cover it with a lid and cook till vegetables are almost done.
  5. Meanwhile boil water and cook Maggi noodles in it.
  6. After the vegetables are cooked add the sauces in the pan.
  7. Add salt to taste. Add sugar also
  8. Mix everything properly and add cooked Maggie to it! Cook for sometime and serve it.
