ABOUT Sprouted Samosa RECIPE

Sprouts kids don't like at all...but if we add this favourite item with kids favourite item they can have this happily...so made this sprouted samosa.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. For dough-
  2. 1/3 cup beetroot and three colour capsicum
  3. 1 green onion chopped
  4. 1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
  5. 1 tsp oil
  6. 1 tsp Garam Masala
  7. 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  8. 1/2 tsp chaat masala
  9. 1 tsp Lemon juice
  10. Salt to taste
  11. 1/4 cup sweet corn
  12. 1/4 cup chopped cabbage
  13. 2 cups maida
  14. 2 tbsp Oil
  15. 1 tsp ajwain
  16. 1 tsp kalongi
  17. Salt to taste
  18. For stuffing
  19. 1 cup green moong sprouts
  20. 1/4 tsp cumin seeds
  21. 1/4 cup chopped onion
  22. Oil for deep frying

Instructions

  1. Add kalonji, ajwain,oil( 1 n 1/2 tbsp) n salt to maida and mix well.
  2. Now add little by little water to make a tight dough.
  3. Now mix rest of the oil and knead into a tight smooth dough.
  4. Rest the dough for 15 min.
  5. In between start preparation for stuffing...
  6. Heat oil, add cumin seeds.
  7. When seeds start to crackle add all veggies and mix well.
  8. Now add sprouts and all spices, saute for 1 min, its done.
  9. Let stuffing cool.
  10. Now take a small portion of dough and make a dumpling, roll it as oval shape.
  11. Cut into two halves horizonrally, make a cone shape by applying water around circular part and fill 2 tsp of stuffing and fold it from one side.
  12. Apply little water on the edges and fix it .
  13. Heat the oil ,fry samosas on low to medium heat .
  14. Hot n healthy “Samosa” is ready to serve...
