Ingredients to make Poha appam

  • Poha 200g
  • Raw rice 250g
  • fenugreek 2 tspoon
  • jaggery 1/4kg
  • ghee
  • Milk 100ml

How to make Poha appam

  1. Soak the raw rice, fenugreek for 2hours
  2. Soak the Poha in the milk
  3. Grind the raw rice and fenugreek,Poha for 15 mins
  4. Make the Jaggery syrup
  5. Mix well the Poha batter and Jaggery syrup
  6. Leave it for 30 mins
  7. Heat appam pan
  8. Add ghee
  9. Pour the batter in appam pan
  10. Turn the appam for both side ,after getting golden colour ,serve hot
  11. Poha appam ready

My Tip:

We can use rice flour also
