Ingredients to make PALAK PULAO

  • Basmati rice .... 2 cups
  • Palak (spinach) .. 1 cup (chopped)
  • coriander leaves.... 1/2 cup
  • mint leaves............ 7-8
  • Green cardamoms... 4
  • cloves ........................ 4
  • cinnamon stick......... 1 inch piece
  • bay leaves ................. 2
  • green chillies ............. 2
  • ginger-garlic paste...1 tbsp.
  • turmeric powder ..... 1/4 tsp.
  • salt to taste
  • oil .. as needed

How to make PALAK PULAO

  1. In a sauce pan heat a little oil, add cardamoms, cloves, cinnamon and bay leaf.
  2. Now add the ginger garlic paste, stir fry and add the greens, salt. turmeric powder and the slit green chillies. Simmer for 4-5 minutes.
  3. Cook the rice and mix the prepared green masala.
