Ingredients to make Restaurant style naan

  • One heaped cup of maida
  • One tbsp oil
  • One tbsp sugar
  • salt according to taste
  • One cup curd or more
  • Half tbsp onion seeds
  • Half cup chopped coriander

How to make Restaurant style naan

  1. Take a big bowl knead dough using maida salt sugar oil and curd. Cover with moist cloth and rest it for 2 hours
  2. Now make equal size balls from it and roll out. Now sprinkle some onion seeds and chopped coriander and roll again and till the desired size
  3. Heat a tawa. Apply little water on the back side of the naan and carefully stick it on the tawa
  4. Now cook it for few minutes. Flip the tawa by holding in hand directly on the flame. Cook few seconds till black or brown spots appear on it.
  5. Apply some ghee or butter and serve with any kind of curry or daal
