ABOUT Paneer Lababdar RECIPE

This yummy paneer dish is cooked in a smooth gravy.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 300gm Cottage Cheese ( Paneer)
  2. 1 tsp Cumin powder
  3. 1 tsp Coriander powder
  4. 1 tsp Turmeric powder
  5. 1 tbsp Red chilli powder
  6. 1 tbsp Dry fenugreek leaves ( Kasuri methi)
  7. 2 large sized Onion chopped
  8. 1 Tomato, chopped
  9. 2 tbsp Fresh Cream
  10. 1 tbsp Ginger-garlic paste
  11. 4 tbsp Oil
  12. Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan, then add the chopped onion and saute it nicely.
  2. Now add the ginger-garlic paste, cumin and coriander powder. Saute it for 1 minute then add the turmeric powder. Next add in red chili pwder, salt and chopped tomato. Saute it for another 2 mins.
  3. Put this mixture into a blender and mix it well.
  4. Then pour this mixture back into the pan, pour in a little water and bring it to boil for 1-2 mins. Then add fenugreek leaves and stir well.
  5. Add the paneer cubes along with the fresh cream. Let this cook for 2 more mins.
  6. Serve it hot with roti, paratha or naan.
