This is my own created recipe. Some people(with high cholestrol and other heart disease) usually avoid eating chats due to their junky nature.Idea behind this recipe was to create something that is healthy and tasty and people could enjoy eating this this royally and without any tension.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1.5 cups Bottle Gourd
  2. 1-2 tsp Chat masala
  3. Nylon sev or alu bhujia
  4. imli chutney(as per taste)
  5. pudina chutney(as per taste)
  6. 1 cup of finely chopped coriander
  7. 2-3 tomatoes finely chopped
  8. 2-3 onions finely chopped
  9. 1/2 tsp Sesame seeds
  10. 2 tbsp oil
  11. salt to taste
  12. 1/4 tsp haldi powder
  13. 1/2 tsp jeera
  14. 1-2 tsp dahi
  15. 4 tbsp masala Oats
  16. 1/4 cup Whole wheat flour
  17. 2 tsp Kitchen king masala


  1. Grate Bottle gours and queeze out all the water. Put it in a bowl.
  2. Add whole wheat flour,oats,turmeric powder,dahi,little oil,jeera , chaat masala,kitchen king masala,half cup of chopped coriander and salt and make a soft sticky dough.
  3. Divide the dough into small portion and roll them in cylindrical shape.
  4. Place it on the steamer and steam them for about 10-15 min,till they are nicely cooked. Insert a toothpick to check if it is cooked or not
  5. Once done,transfer it to the plate and let it cool for some time. Now cut it into long finger chips style strips
  6. Shallow fry it on a non-stick fry pan till it becomes brown and crispy. Once done, serve it on a plate
  7. Put onions ,tomato, chat masala,pudina and imli cutney and nylon or alu bhujia sev over each of the strip . you can also add dahi if needed.
  8. Now add chopped corainder and the healthy tasty chat is ready.
