Ingredients to make Sev Tomato Sabji

  • Thick and spicy Namkeen Sev 2 cups
  • Chopped onion 2
  • tomato 3
  • garlic cloves 5
  • ginger grated 1 teaspoon
  • Grated dry coconut 1 tablespoon
  • poppy seeds 1 teaspoon
  • cloves 2
  • Black pepper corns 5 to 8
  • turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoon
  • red chilly powder 1 teaspoon
  • coriander powder 1 teaspoon
  • oil 1 to 2 tablespoon
  • salt to taste
  • Chopped coriander for garnishing
  • lemon juice to taste

How to make Sev Tomato Sabji

  1. Dry roast grated dry coconut, poppy seeds, cloves and black pepper corns for some time
  2. Take chopped onion , tomato ginger, garlic and roasted poppy seeds, cloves, black pepper corns and coconut in a mixer grinder .. and prepare a smooth paste
  3. Heat oil in a pan and add turmeric powder, red chilly powder and Coriander powder , sauté for a while
  4. Add ready paste and sauté till oil separates
  5. Add 2 to 4 cups of water and salt to taste , let it boil till oil appears on top
  6. Take thick and spicy namkeen sev
  7. Add sev to boiling gravy just before serving and switch off heat
  8. Add lemon juice and serve hot immediately ...
