Ingredients to make Sev tamatar

  • Thick sev one cup
  • Two tablespoons oil
  • cumin seeds one tea spoon
  • salt as per taste
  • Red chilli one teaspoon
  • Two green chillies
  • Tomato puree of 2 medium tomatoes
  • water 1.5 cups

How to make Sev tamatar

  1. Take a pan
  2. Heat two tablespoon oil
  3. Add cumin seeds in the heated oil
  4. Once the seeds crackle, add tomato puree, salt, red chilly and finely chopped green chilli
  5. Close the lid of the pan until tomatoes are cooked properly
  6. Add sev and water
  7. Cover the lid again for five minutes
  8. Switch off the gas
  9. Sev tamatar kadi is ready to eat
  10. Garnish with fresh coriander

My Tip:

Don't add ginger garlic paste or coriander powder. It's not required.
